European Heritage Day at Château de Beloeil: Heritage Accessible to All
On the occasion of European Heritage Day, Château de Beloeil is opening its doors wide for a day focused on inclusion and accessibility. This exceptional event is specially designed to welcome people with specific needs, as well as anyone who wishes to better understand and experience heritage in an inclusive way.
On the agenda:
- Awareness Workshops: Participate in interactive workshops to discover different specific needs, better understand the daily challenges faced by some people, and learn how to create a more inclusive environment for everyone.
- Accessible Guided Tours: Explore the magnificent Château de Beloeil during adapted guided tours! Whether you are in a wheelchair, visually impaired, or have other specific needs, our trained guides will be there to make your visit enriching and enjoyable.
Guided tour schedule of the castle:
- 2:00 PM – Ground floor tour (ideal for people with mobility difficulties)
- 3:00 PM – “Classic” tour (suitable for all audiences)
- 3:30 PM – Adapted tour (ideal for people with visual impairments)
- 4:15 PM – Condensed tour (ideal for people needing simplified language: intellectual disability, children, non-native speakers)
These tours remain perfectly accessible to people without specific needs. Due to the limited number of people per tour, we cannot guarantee a guided tour for everyone (the “first come, first served” principle applies).
Outside of these time slots, free visits to the Domain are of course possible.
